Without proper management of your newly upgraded or freshly deployed wireless network, the chance that you'll run into performance problems is almost guaranteed — even if you're WiFi design was configured correctly. But managing your wireless network after it's been deployed can be difficult. In this week's episode, Danny reveals the four reasons why WiFi management is so challenging today.
What's up everybody! My name is Danny, welcome back to the WiFi Minute. Today's topic, why managing your wireless network is so challenging today. All right. Let's put 60 seconds up on the clock, and let's do this.
There are a few different factors at play here that make managing your wireless network so challenging. A lot of different businesses and organizations lack an in-house staff member that specializes in wireless.
The second reason is that it is very costly and time-consuming to train your in-house staff to specialize in wireless to the necessary level to be able to manage it properly.
That leads us to our third challenge, which is hiring a network engineer or a wireless engineer from the outside to join your team. It sounds great and it is great if you can do it, but there's a couple of problems with that in itself.
There is a high demand and low supply of this very specialized skill set, making it very expensive and very competitive to find someone to hire onto your staff.
And finally, the software that's required to manage your wireless network is also expensive and complex to use. You put it all together and it's just not an easy task for most businesses and organizations, to properly manage their wireless network after they've deployed it.
Down in the description below, I've included a link to our wireless network design kit, which provides you with everything you need to know before you deploy your wireless network.
